Taiwan, Day 7, part 1

I intended to stay offline for the rest of today, but this place, the Kenting Youth Activity Center so charmed me, I couldn’t wait to share. It’s a traditional Fujen-style village, complete with courtyards, lily pads and lovely architecture. Sammy and I wandered around without seeing anyone else. It was the kind of quiet where you automatically lower your voice. And the view! I told Sammy, “This is a perfect second-date place. When the first date at the restaurant has gone well and now you want something more romantic.” He pointed to the cove over which I stood and informed me, it was indeed Lover’s Cove.
